John made the whole experience memorable and a pleasure. He is very personable and makes you feel that you are his only customer. I was impressed with his attention to detail and his "go-getter" attitude. I truly would have been lost without his expertise guidance. If I ever need to be in the market again he would be my go-to guy!
John is very proactive and was always there to answer any questions or resolve any issues the instant they arose. He was always available and was prompt to return any call, emails, or texts. He also helped with finding honest, prompt people for any repairs or corrections that were needed.
Many realtors told us it would be years before we could own a home. We had paid $1,000 in rent for three years, so we knew we could handle a mortgage payment. We finally moved in with our parents to save for a down payment. Still, realtors were reluctant to show us houses, without first showing them the money. So, we took a chance and called on a for-sale-by-owner ad. The owner was friends with John. John vowed he would represent both of us honestly and he did just that. John has integrity and an unwavering work ethic. As first-time homebuyers, we were often lost in the process and John kept us informed -- any time of the day or night. Literally, three months after making that call, John sealed the deal and we are moving into our first home. He is extremely knowledgeable about the process and the entire transaction was seamless. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home.
John was very responsive to all my questions and concerns. He made himself available 7 days a week and is very easy to communicate with. John went above and beyond to help with the final preparations of the house after the initial inspections. He is definitely not afraid to get his hands dirty and pitch in to get through the inspection process.
As a remote seller, John worked with various vendors and repair companies to get inspection items completed in a timely manner. He constantly made sure we knew the latest status and cost of the repairs being made. This was invaluable since we could not be there in person!
John took the time to understand the neighborhood and the local area as part of his marketing strategy. He was interested in my neighbors' names and professions to help find the right buyer.
When times got tough during the negotiations process and up to the final closing, John was encouraging and kept us calm during the process saying, "we are almost to the finish line; hang in there".
Overall, I always felt like I was still the decision maker and John was there to support my direction. He simply did a GREAT JOB!
John continues to amaze us with his integrity and genuine concern. He answered text messages and phone calls immediately, even to let us know he would work on finding the answer. We were never left guessing what the next move was or where to focus. (Example: His guidance on what to expect in the home inspection and how to follow-up with the small repairs, saved us time and money)
His positive attitude, helpful demeanor, and overall genuineness made both our house sale and purchase a great experience.
John did an excellent job in helping guide us through a very complicated sale of our home and the purchase of a new home. He anticipated questions and needs and either had the answers or sought them out and got back to us quickly. I never had to ask him twice about follow up on any any topic.
